I’m a freelance video producer. Does my license cover my clients?
The "pay per track" license you purchase covers the clients who hire you to create their projects. If you need a subcription that covers client work, "Videographer" is the correct plan.
Can I use the music in multiple projects?
For "Pay Per Track" your license is limited to one project. However 1 license covers all edits, episodes or project in series (within the license scoope of purchased track).
Can I add lyrics to a song?
No. Adding lyrics, and/or redistribution is prohibited.
The music has a voice that says "Mojo Soundtrack" in it. How do I remove it?
You simply need to buy the track and you will get a higher quality music track without audio watermark. The watermark version is only so you can try the music in your project before buying it.
How can I whitelist my Youtube channel from copyright claims?
If you have a subcription, you can simply send the Youtube channels you want to whitelist to [email protected] The process of whitelisting can take up to a week ish but then you don't have to clear any copyright claims from Mojo Soundtrack after that.
What is a copyright claim?
A Content ID claim is generated by an automated system on YouTube, so your video may still get a claim even though you properly licensed the music. Content ID protects both the music and customers from illegal registrations of the music.
- You can remove the claim by following these guidelines: Dispute a Content ID Claim.
- When you get to the box that asks you to explain your claim, copy/paste or screenshot the contents of your email with your license information (when purchasing "pay per track") If you have a subcription go to "Order history" and click "details" to find your license information.
- If the claim has not been released within 24 hours feel free to email [email protected] and they can help you clear the claim.
NOTE: A Content ID Claim is NOT a Copyright Strike. Copyright Claims do not affect the status of your YouTube Channel in any way. Mojo Soundtrack will never issue a Copyright Strike on YouTube.
